Former President Barack Obama called for Americans to take the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday as a day “on” instead of a day off. In 2014 GFCC accepted this challenge by gathering at the AR Food Bank and packing boxes of food to be distributed to families throughout Arkansas. After compiling several pallets of food boxes to be distributed, the Greater Friendship Family decided to make this an annual event.
